These words by singer Loyiso Bala, a 46664 ambassador, sum up the aim of 46664’s involvement at the Soweto Festival recently – spread the word about HIV/AIDS.
Loyiso Bala takes the test that counts
Velvet-voiced Loyiso Bala, R&B star and 46664 ambassador shows his support for the third National HIV, Behaviour and Health Survey being conducted by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). This is the third household survey of this nature conducted by the HSRC since the Nelson Mandela Foundation commissioned the first survey in 2002.
‘One Million Hellos’ ad wins a silver at the Loeries
The One Million Hellos television commercial conceptualised by Stick for 46664 won a silver award in the Outdoor & Ambient category at the 30th annual Loerie awards held at the end of July in Margate.
Concertgoer inspired by Madiba’s message
On Friday June 27, 2008, 46,664 fans flocked to Hyde Park in London to enjoy the 46664 concert.
Part of Madiba’s 90th birthday celebrations the concert is also a call to join the fight against HIV/AIDS.
One of the concertgoers, Rochelle Riley, was more than just entertained, she was inspired.
