Hundreds test for HIV at Soweto Festival

“If you spread the message to just one or two people and they spread the message to one or two people, millions of people will get the message.”

These words by singer Loyiso Bala, a 46664 ambassador, sum up the aim of 46664’s involvement at the Soweto Festival recently – spread the word about HIV/AIDS.

Motivated by the work of organisations like 46664, Live 8 and Live Earth, Key Change Music officially launched its own exciting project, called Collaboration 4 Change (C4C), in partnership with 46664 recently at the Suncoast Casino in Durban.

The foyer of Montecasino’s Il Grande theatre in Johannesburg filled up quickly on August 28 with 250 of South Africa’s most dynamic and vibrant young women. They were there to learn from the best in business, while providing 46664 with an opportunity to address the group most vulnerable to HIV infection – young women.
