Earth Affair
Earth Affair was formed in 2004 after intensive work on the debut album Chapter One, which was written and produced by Gulli Briem, a founder member of the teenage funk group Mezzoforte. From Shepherds Bush, Starfield Studios, came the first international release, the beautiful, tear-jerking soulful world of Earth Affair.
In Norway on May 17, 2005, Earth Affair shared the 46664 live stage with Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Brian May, Robert Plant, Johnny Clegg and many great African artists as well as Nelson Mandela himself. The atmosphere was overwhelming and had a powerful impact on the members of Earth Affair, who committed themselves to further work with the 46664 organisation when called for.
“We are proud to be Mr Mandela’s appointed ambassadors and to raise further awareness for HIV/AIDS in Africa,” says the band.
